I think it’s really intimate to share certain music, the songs you love but keep to yourself because someone else might find it off-putting or strange. If you can find someone who you can play your favourite playlist with, or the playlist you go to when you’re feeling dead, or sick, the one with music you don’t talk about, then that person must be really fucking special.
